PS4 Firmware v2.55 is now available to download, and is required to access the PlayStation Network. The update itself is a minor one, improving system stability and fixing bugs with the System Software. It’s worth noting that this update has caused a bug with reading discs, in particular, when ejecting the disc while the console is on stand-by mode.
