American videogames retailer, Gamestop, has revealed the prices of the PlayStation Vita Memory Cards. The proprietary format cards are available in sizes ranging from 4GB up to 32GB and are based on the SD memory card format. As we expected, the Vita’s memory cards are much more expensive than the standard SD cards.

Rumor Alert: PS3 / Vita Remote Play Locked To PSP Resolution
According to a story by Eurogamer, the PlayStation Vita’s Remote Play functionality will be the same resolution as the PSP, which is currently stands at 480px x 272px resolution, and scaled up to the Vita’s resolution. A firmware update will enable Remote Play for all titles, and new PS3 games will be able to include a specific 480p resolution for the Vita.
PlayStation Vita Launch Line-up Announced
At a press even in London earlier today, Senior Vice President of Worldwide Studios Europe, Michael Denny, gave a presentation announcing the PlayStation Vita launch line-up and upcoming games, as well as showing off some of the social features of the PlayStation Vita.
Vodafone Announced As Preferred Partner For PS Vita 3G Connectivity
Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) and Vodafone have today announced a partnership that will see Vodafone as the preferred provider of 3G connectivity for PlayStation Vita initially in the UK, Ireland, Italy, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Australia, New Zealand and The Netherlands, and with Vodafone’s Partner in France (SFR).

As you must know by now, PlayStation Vita will be hitting shelves across the PAL region from 22 February 2012. Sony Announces the ‘UMD Passport’ Program in Japan
Sony has announced the UMD Passport program, allowing owners of PSP UMD games to play their games on the PlayStation Vita at discounted prices. So far the program has only been confirmed for Japan, but it’s likely that the program will be extended to international PSP customers as well.

Sony Changes PSN Game Usage Policy for PS3 and PSP
Sony is making some changes in the way games bought from the PlayStation Network can be used. As of November 18, 2011, the number of devices that can be activated on one PlayStation Network account for game content purchased from the PlayStation Store will be updated.
