Remember that video of the PSPgo running homebrew a while back? (If no, see below). FreePlay was able to run some custom code on the PSPgo just days after launch, making use of a known exploit that was still present in the new firmware update. According to his latest progress update, FreePlay is now working on a eLoader for the PSPgo. If all goes well, we could see a PSPgo eLoader, allowing you to load your own homebrew applications and games on the PSPgo.

PlayStation Store Update for Nov 5th 2009
This week on the PSP PlayStation Store, more games have a price promotion on the European Store and several new downloadable titles have been added to the US Store, including Numblast and Ghostbusters The Video Game. A new PSP Minis title is available for download from the European Store as well as a PSOne classic. A new episode of PULSE is out now on the US Store, along with a selection of free and premium XMB themes.
PlayStation Store Update for Oct 29th 2009
On the PSP Store this week, the price promotion on many PSP and PSOne Classics continue on the European Store. Both Stores have a selection of new demos available for download including LocoRoco Midnight Carnival and PixelJunk Monsters Delux. Zombie Tycoon, a new PSP Minis title, is also available for purchase from both stores.
SOCOM: Fireteam Bravo 3 Release Date
The third iteration of the hit PSP series SOCOM: Fireteam Bravo, is making it way to the PSP in 2010. To be exact, Fireteam Bravo 3 will be available to purchase from January 12, 2010. Originally, the game was supposed to hit stores on Tuesday, November 24 2009, but has since been delayed. It’s been well over two years since Fireteam Bravo 2 was released so if you are looking for a SOCOM fix, you will have to wait a little longer.
Zombie Tycoon Now Available on PSN
Just in time for Halloween, a new PSP Minis title has hit the PlayStation Store for just £3.99/4.99. Zombie Tycoon lets you take ‘control’ of a hilarious zombie horde in order to achieve complete world domination. Doing so will require a lot brain throwing, building trashing, mascot bashing as well as equipping some of the silliest loot ever conceived.

This week on the PSP PlayStation Store, many games are available on discount on the European Store. Both the European Store and US Stores have received several new games including GTA: Chinatown Wars and WWE Smackdown vs RAW 2010. In addition, GTA Liberty City Stories and Vice City Stories are available to purchase from the US Store. GTA: Chinatown Wars Now Available
Grand Theft Auto: China Chinatown Wars is now available on the PSP via the PlayStation Store and on UMD. Originally released on the Nintendo DS, Chinatown Wars brings a unique, arcade-like approach to the series. On the PSP, the game includes some exclusive missions, music, re-optimized controls, and an intense high-resolution graphical overhaul that could only be done on this platform.
Pre-order Holy Invasion of Privacy, Badman! on UMD
To aid NIS America’s decision to release Holy Invasion of Privacy, Badman! on UMD, a UMD pre-order process has been started. Fans of the game have been asking for a UMD release for some time, but NISA is concerned about the actual demand. You can pre-order your copy from RosenQueen.com. However, in order to make it possible for NISA to manufacture the UMD, they will have to get at least 1000 orders.
The PSP Needs Trophies Too
The PlayStation 3 received trophy support over a year ago, bring more replay value to games and also rewarding gamers by completing special feats. We think trophies were a great addition to PS3 games, and its about time it comes to the PSP. More often than not, we find ourselves playing games purely for the trophies, and we’re not alone. There are many trophy whores out there.
