The first PSP Store update for 2010 is finally here. This week, Europe has a number of new downloadable games available for purchase, as well as some new PSOne classics. Two new Minis titles are available and some XMB themes too. Three new downloadable titles are available in the US and a number of free and premium XMB themes. The January 7th 2010 episode of PULSE is also available to download from the US Store.

More Than Half Of PSP Gamers Are Women
Gaming has been growing with the female market for several years now. In fact, there number of male to female games are slowly reaching equal numbers. According to Nielsen, around 45% of active gamers are female. Even more surprising is that that PSP is more popular with female gamers, with 52% of owners being female.
SOCOM Fireteam Bravo 3 Delayed Once Again
If you were looking forward to the third iteration of SOCOM: Fireteam Bravo, we have some bad news for you. Slant Six and SCEA have confirmed that Fireteam Bravo 3 will be delayed again, making it the second delay to the title. The game was originally supposed to be released in November 2009, but was then pushed back to January 12th 2010. A new release date has not been revealed but we expect one in the next few weeks.
Digital Comics Update for Dec 22nd 2009
Despite launching over 550 titles last week, the Digital Comics Store has been updated today, adding further titles. Just like the regular PlayStation Store, the Comic store will be updated each and every week. This week, 8 new titles have been added to the UK Store and 10 new titles to the US Store. PSP PlayStation Store Update for Dec 22nd 2009
The European PSP Store has been updated with new content earlier than usual this week, as Thursday is Christmas Eve. This week, a number of additional titles have been discounted and two new games have been added to the Store. Four new Minis titles are available to purchase in Europe too. On the US Store, a number of premium themes have been added two new playable demos.
adhocParty Now Available in Europe
adhocParty is finally available to download in Europe. It’s been over a month since it was released in the US and even long in Japan. adhocParty is an online service that allows PSP owners with a PS3 system to connect to one another via the PlayStation Network. adhocParty enables you to play games featuring Ad Hoc mode, such as Gran Turismo and Monster Hunter Freedom Unite, over the Internet through the PS3.
LittleBigPlanet Accessory Bundle Advert References PSP-4000
The PSP-4000 model may be just around the corner, as a new LittleBigPlanet advert suggests. The below advert for the LittleBigPlanet PSP Accessory pack, which ran in MCV’s latest “Digital Edition”, references the PSP-4000 in addition to the current PSP models and the PSPgo. The details on the PSP-4000 has yet to be revealed, but we speculate that it will still feature the UMD drive and be even smaller than the PSP-3000.
PSP PlayStation Store Update for Dec 17th 2009
On the PSP Store this week, the Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker demo is now available to download in both Europe and the US. A number of titles have been reduced permanently on the European store so go and grab yourself a bargain. The US Store also has a selection of new PSP XMB Themes and game videos for you to enjoy. Digital Comics Service Now Live
Earlier today, the Digital Comics Service launched in UK, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa! You can choose your favourite comics from hundreds of new and classic collections in Comic Store of PlayStation Store, and take hundreds of comics on your PSP anywhere you go. Choose from the battling superheroes of Marvel, including Spider-man, X-Men and the Fantastic Four, to Disney’s Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck.

This week on the PSP PlayStation Store a number of new games are available from the European Store, including Tekken 6 and Avatar. Three Metal Gear Solid titles are also available for download too. The US Store has a number of new titles too, including Silent Hill: Origins, and the two Death Jr. titles.
