Echoes is another mini from Halfbrick and certainly brings a unique change in tone from Blast Off. To promote the game, Sony are giving the soundtrack to the game away for free (see below). Four tracks are available, with each one specific to the individual gameplay mode – Arcade, Jackpot, Survival and Multiplayer.

PlayStation Store Update for Feb 25th 2010
This week on the PSP PlayStation Store, the The Eye of Judgment Legends demo is now available to download from both the US and European stores. Both stores also have a number of new downloadable games available for purchase, including Valhalla Knights 2 in Europe and Echoshift in the US.

Sony Admits PSPgo Was Too Expensive
The PSPgo hasn’t had much success since it was launched last October and Sony admits the lack of success too. While the PSPgo is smaller and faster than the older PSP models and includes 16GB of internal flash storage, the models hasn’t sold well, mainly due to the high retail price. “I think the higher price point didn’t help matters,” says Rob Dyer, Sony’s Senior Vice President of Publisher Relations.

This week on the PSP Store, a number of new titles have been discounted until March 4th. New downloadable games are available from both stores, including SOCOM: Fireteam Bravo 3 – in total, Europe has four new downloadable games and the US has two. New DLC is available for LittleBigPlanet and other games from the store too.
More Minis Now Have A Mini Price
Today, more minis titles have been reduced in price. Some of the best selling titles from the minis category start from just €1.49 / £1.24. Best of all, the minis work on both the PSP and PS3. The price reduction is only effective for a limited time only, ending on March 4th 2010.

This week on the PSP Comics Store, new comics have been released including Venom vs Carnage (#1-#4) and the phenomenal X-23: Target X series from 2007 (#1-#6). Plus, there’s more Daredevil, Hulk, Wolverine and X-Men to enjoy. The second issue of Cages is also available, and you can also pick up the first issue for free.
Sony Introduces New DRM To Combat PSP Piracy
With the release of SOCOM: Fireteam Bravo 3, Sony has introduced a new security feature in the hopes of combating piracy on the PSP. In SCEA’s new initiative, those who will purchase the game are now required to register the title through PlayStation Network before given access to online gameplay.
