Happy 5th Birthday to PSP
Another PlayStation system celebrates a birthday this week – this time it’s the PSP. March 24, 2005 will always be known in PlayStation history as the day Sony debuted the PSP system in North America. With its best-in-class, 4.3 inch high-resolution LCD display, vast library of software titles and built-in wireless communications, the PSP system was the first integrated handheld entertainment system to introduce console-quality gaming and comprehensive entertainment capabilities to the portable market.
Mahjong Solitaire Coming to PSP & PS3
If you are a fan of Mahjong, Agetec, Inc. has just announced a new title for the Minis range. Mahjong Solitaire will be available to download from the PlayStation Store in Spring 2010 in North America for only $2.99. ??Mahjong Solitaire is the same, classic mahjong tile matching game which has enchanted players for decades. Players remove matching pairs of tiles from an organized layering of tiles, trying to remove as many tiles as possible as fast as they can.
PlayStation Store Update for Mar 18th 2010
This week on the PSP Store, Episode 5 of The Tester is available to download from the US store, marking the half-way point for season 1. A number of new downloadable games are also available including Patchwork Heroes in both the US and Europe. Limited Edition Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker PSP
If you are a Metal Gear Solid fan, this is something you don’t want to miss. Along with the release of Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker for the PSP, Sony will also be releasing a limited edition entertainment pack, which will contain a “Spirited Green” PSP-3000 system and the game on UMD.

This week on the Comic store, Markosia Enterprises has joined the Digital Comics team, so lookout for their content very soon. This week, you will find Dragon Age, which is in the digital comics store ahead of its release in comic book shops. Also, All Hail Megatron, the final episode of Locke & Key, plus 5 more issues of Vintage X-Men (1963) from Marvel.
PlayStation Store Update for Mar 11th 2010
On the PSP Store this week, Fat Princess is available to download in Europe and The Eye of Judgement Legends is available to purchase from both stores. Both stores have a number of new downloadable titles available for purchase. The European store also has two new minis titles and the US store has some new XMB themes.
Digital Comics Update for Mar 11th 2010
This week, the first ever five issues of The X-Men (1963) from Marvel have been added to the Comic Store. Also, Red 5 return with the first issue of We Kill Monsters – an action-comedy in which two brothers discover monsters in their sleepy town and the power to do something about it – is also available.
PlayStation Store Update for Mar 4th 2010
This week on the PSP PlayStation Store, the Patchwork Heroes demo is now available to download from both stores and there is lots of new add-on content for games including LittleBigPlanet, and Echoshift. A number of new downloadable games are available to purchase from the US store and there is also a selection of premium themes.

There are now over 1000 comics on the PlayStation Store for you to enjoy. This week, there’s more Wolverine and X-Men from Marvel and a great classic, including the first appearance of Iron Man in Tales of Suspense (1963). For all the Star Trek fans, there’s Star Trek: Nero from IDW. This issue is set in the 25 years between the movie’s opening sequence and the rise of James T. Kirk.
