PlayStation Network users could be getting a better online experience soon, a newly registered website suggests. PlayStation gamers could be getting a more connected experience with the launch of PSN-Connect. Although the website is currently blank, the domain belongs to SCEA as a simple whois search reveals. Of course, this doesn’t prove anything. It could just be a holding page to protect the PSN Trademark.

Fans of this 80’s classic rejoice! Finally, fresh from their video game release and after a week or so of tease images, Ghostbusters finally hits LittleBigPlanet this Thursday. Individual costumes will be priced at $1.99 and or download the full costume pack for $5.99, which includes all 4 costumes and bonus stickers!
PS3 Slim Spotted In Street Market?

Rumors about the PlayStation 3 Slim are still circulating dispite Sony debunking the initial claim. The PS3 Slim photos were first released back in May and later in June the BBC revealed that the PS3 Slim is expected to launch later this year. Now, a PS3 Slim was spotted at a street market retailer in the Philippines. Of course, this doesn’t prove anything as fake consoles are sold all the time and made to look like the real thing. PlayStation Video Store Update For July 10th 2009

This week’s US PlayStation Video Store update is quite small in terms of movie content but there are lots of new TV episodes to download. 20 new movies are available, including Knowing (HD) and Dragonquest. As for TV, there are over 50 new episodes and some new complete seasons have been added. For this week’s top movie downloads, Knowing is top followed by Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li and Push.

Flower is the latest game from thatgamecompany, the ingenious minds behind flOw which was one of the earliest and indeed the first indie game to hit the PlayStation Store. In flower, you control a petal and work your way through environments rejuvenating them to become bright and beautiful once more.
I strongly suggest that if you have bought the game, that you play through each of the 6 levels or ‘dreams’ BEFORE looking at this guide – it’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience the first time you play through it and I do not want to ruin that for you.

PlayStation Store Update For July 9th 2009

This week’s PlayStation Store update features new downloadable games for both Europe and the US. Battlefield 1943 is now available to purchase from both stores and Buzz Jr. Robo Jam is also available on the US Store. The Ghostbusters demo is also available to download as well as game add-on content for lots of titles including Rock Band, Guitar Hero, MotorStorm, Dynasty Warriors 6 and Skate 2. PlayStation Video Store Update for July 3rd 2009

Lots of new movies and TV content available to download from the US PlayStation Video Store this week. New TV includes the latest episodes of The Philanthropist and In Plain Sight, as well as lots of back episodes of popular TV shows. As for this week’s top movie downloads, Gran Torino has moved to the top (from seconds place) followed by Inkheart. Friday the 13th has dropped to third place (from first place). PlayStation Store Update for July 2nd 2009

A huge update to the PlayStation Store this week, and it’s also the first update for July. Europe has received three new downloadable games as well as a new playable demo and PSOne classic. As for the US, Qore Episode 14 is now available to download as well as a new episode of PULSE. Both stores have lots of new game add-on content including a new LittleBigPlanet costume, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 extras and new tracks for Rock Band and Guitar Hero.
