Sony’s Intention is to Start “Online Videogame Streaming Service” using Gaikai

Speaking to the Wall Street Journal, Andrew House, president and Group CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment, has revealed Sony’s plans on how the company will use cloud streaming service Gaikai. Sony announced that it will be acquiring Gaikai early this week.
Final Fantasy VII Launch Trailer for PC Version Released

Remember the Final Fantasy VII remake we mentioned a while ago? Well, Square-Enix has released an official trailer for the game (see below) and the website is now live too. The game is listed as “coming soon”, but you can find out more about the game on the Official website.
Assassin’s Creed III Live Action Trailer Released

Ubisoft has released a live action teaser for Assassin’s Creed 3, but it doesn’t really feature any ‘live action’. Instead, you can checkout the action in the Independence trailer that was released the other day to get your action fix. The supposed ‘live action’ trailer is included for your viewing pleasure below.
PS3 Sees Regular Stream of PS2 Titles Incoming in Japan

Sony has announced, in Japan at least, that PS2 titles will be coming in a steady stream as downloadable titles on the PlayStation Store. The service, knows as “Game Archive”, will see new titles being added to the Store at regular intervals, with the first update planned for July 25th.

You can find lots of new content on the North American PS3 Store this week, with a number of new PS3 and PSN games added. New PlayStation Plus content has also been added including three new games in the Instant Game Collection.
More GT5 DLC Confirmed and PS Vita Version Mentioned

Kazunori Yamauchi, creator of the GT series, has confirmed that Polyphony Digital are working on more DLC for Gran Turismo 5. Speaking to the Spanish PlayStation.Blog, said that ‘future improvements’ for the series may include an event editor and they are even thinking of a ‘story mode’.
Activision Announce “Call of Duty: Online” Exclusively for China

Activision have announced that Call of Duty: Online, a new title which has been in development for two years, will be released exclusively to Chinese game players. The game is free-to-play and is operated by Tencent, who has a “terrific track record of customer-focused innovation and deep market knowledge” that Activision will leverage as they build games for this market.
Digital PSN Games May Become Transferable After European Court Ruling

PSN Downloads may become transferable in the near future after a European Court ruling. The European Court today confirmed that end-users are legally allowed to sell on second hand digitally downloaded video games. This could mean that Sony will make PSN titles transferable to comply with the ruling.
