Europe’s PlayStation Store update this week is a little on the light side, but there is still plenty of new content to enjoy, especially on the PS4. Nine new PS4 games are available on the PS4 along with one new game for the PS Vita. New games include Grow Up (PS4), Paragon (PS4) and F1 2016 (PS4). You can also find a handful of new DLC for various PS3 games, including Hitman Episode 4.

PS4 Firmware v4.0 Features Revealed

Sony has announced that PS4 Firmware 4.00 public beta has commended, and is available to anyone currently signed up to the public beta program. The firwmare is the major update to the PS4, bringing with it a multitude of changes including a UI refresh, better and customisable Quick Menu, and Folder and Library organisation functionality.
PlayStation Plus Games for August 2016 Revealed

Sony has announced the new games coming to PlayStation Plus in August 2016. As usual, you can expect six new games to join the Instant Game Collection – two for each PlayStation platform. New games in August include Tricky Towers (PS4), Yakuza 5 (PS3) and Patapon 3 (PS Vita). The line-up also includes a game that was previously part of PlayStation Plus: Retro/Grade (PS3).
Playtest PlayStation VR at EGX in Birmingham’s NEC Ahead of Official Launch

Sony UK has announced that PlayStation VR will be at EGX this September, giving gamers the opportunity to try out the virtual reality headset and experience the immersive entertainment it brings with it. The PlayStation VR headset will be at the PlayStation Stand at EGX, which takes place from 22nd to 25th September at the NEC in Birmingham.
Life is Strange Episode 1 is now Free on PS4 and PS3

Dontnod Entertainment has announced that the first episode of Life is Strange is now free to download on the PS4 and PS3. The first episode, titled Chrysalis, will remain free to download regardless of whether you are a PlayStation Plus subscriber or not. If you’re not familiar with Life is Strange, check out a brand new trailer below.
US PlayStation Store Update for 19th July 2016

New content is available on the US PlayStation Store including nine new PS4 games, and new PS Vita game and a new PSP game. New and notable games this week include 10 Second Ninja X (PS4, PS Vita), and I am Setsuna (PS4). You can also find new add-on content for a number of PS4 and PS3 games.
EU PlayStation Store Update for 19th July 2016

This week’s European PlayStation Store update is live, bringing with it 17 new PS4 games and three new PS Vita games. New games include 10 Second Ninja X (PS4, PS Vita), the free The King of Fighters XIV demo (PS4), and Gal*Gun: Double Peace (PS4, PS Vita). Telltale’s Batman Series Gets First Episode in August

Telltale Games have announced that the first episode in their new Batman series is coming to consoles and other platforms in August. The August release will be digital only, but a physical version will be available for purchase starting September 13th in North America and September 16th in Europe as a special Season Pass Disc. The exact date for the August digital-only release has yet to be revealed.
Attack on Titan: Wings of Freedom Ready for Big Release

With the gaming option available now it is extremely difficult to develop a game that will grasp customer interest immediately. It takes time to build up a reputation and so for some games it is about having a distinguishing feature that makes it accessible to the masses. Whether that is excellent graphics, gameplay or design, or a combination of all three, but there is a high standard expected in the gaming industry given the amount of platforms and devices that can be used to game with.
