The PS5 Pro does not come with a UHD Blu-ray disc drive like previous PS5 models, despite its hefty price tag. However, like the PS5 Slim Digital Edition, a Blu-ray disc drive can be purchased separately to allow you to play physical games as well as Blu-ray movies.
The detachable disc drive can be purchased for £99.99 / $79.99 from PlayStation Direct and other retailers like Amazon. The disc drive includes a new panel to cover the drive once it’s been attached to the PS5 Pro or PS5 Slim.
