The PlayStation Portal has received a minor system software update, improving the system software. The public Wi-Fi support added in PS Portal Firmware 3.0.0 has been improved in this update, allowing the PS Portal to connect to a wider range of public networks.
The PS Portal system software update also improvements to the system performance and stability.
You can update your PlayStation Portal by going to [Settings] > [System] > [System Software] > [Update System Software].

- To connect to public networks, make sure that the initial setup for your PS Portal is completed.
- To comply with regulations for various countries and regions, PS Portal might not support connections to certain public networks, such as 5GHz networks.
- PS Portal can now connect to a wider range of public networks, including certain 5GHz networks.
