A new update for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is available to download, updating the game to version 1.020. Among fixes and improvements to the game, this update also adds new graphics options for players using Performance Mode.
Gamers who choose to play in Performance Mode will now have the choice of ‘Sharp’ or ‘Soft’ visuals. The ‘Sharp’ option will improve the graphics without sacrificing the frame rate. You can check out the full list of improvements in the release notes below.

- Fixes to missing or incorrect characters in some parts of the game text.
- Fixes to player character bugs that occur in field areas under certain conditions.
