Due to high inflation rates in certain countries and the global economic environment, the cost of the PS5 has increase in specific markets with immediate effect. SIE has made the difficult decision to increase the recommended retail price (RRP) of PlayStation 5 in select markets across Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), Asia-Pacific (APAC), Latin America (LATAM), as well as Canada, but not the United States.
In Europe, it means an increase of €50 for each of the PS5 versions, while in the UK it means a £30 increase to each console’s RRP. The new RRPs below are effective immediately unless otherwise noted.
