Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 2 has been given a release window at the Final Fantasy 7 25th anniversary celebration. The second will be called Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, and will be exclusive to the PS5. Producer Yoshinori Kitase also reconfirmed that the whole project will be split into three parts, with the third part yet to be named.
Final Fantasy VII Remake was released back in April 2020 with the Intergrade (PS5) version being released in June 2021. Final Fantasy VII Rebirth won’t be releasing until winter 2023, so fans have a little longer to wait until the second instalment is released. At this rate of going, the third part won’t likely be released until 2025 or 2026.
As with Part 1 of the remake, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will expand on the story from the original game. Alongside this announcement, Square Enix also revealed remasters of prequel game Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion, which will be releasing this year.
Was wondering when FF7R 2 would release.
