Ubisoft has revealed a big new expansion for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, coming to the game in March 2022. The expansion, titled Dawn of Ragnarok, will see Eivor taking on the role of Odin once again to determine the future of the Nine Realms, along with new mythological abilities to help out in your fights.
The Dawn of Ragnarok expansion aims to provide over 35 hours of new content across a collection of Norse realms that are roughly one-third the size of England. Expect to unlock new abilities and weapon classes that will transform Odin into a one-god-army who can demolish any obstacle in his way.
Alongside this new expansion, Ubisoft is also releasing Assassin’s Creed Crossover Stories, the first of which launches today (14th December 2021). This takes us back to Odyssey protagonist Kassandra’s journey with two new stories: Those Who Are Treasured available in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, and A Fated Encounter in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Both DLCs are free to download.
A huge update to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has also been released, which includes difficulty setting improvements and fixes stealth. The update means the entire game needs to be downloaded, which means a 67 GB download on the PS4 and a 40 GB download on the PS5, but the game should also consume less space once installed.
