This week’s State of Play broadcast featured a new two-minute trailer for Death Stranding Director’s Cut, which is heading to the PS5. This definitive edition of the game was announced only last month by Kojima Productions at the Summer Game Fest live stream, and will include expanded content on the PS5.
As the trailer shows, the game is now available to pre-order and will be releasing on 24th September 2021. The core gameplay has been expanded with advanced combat mechanics that include upgraded melee and mounted machine guns. Getting around the world will be enhanced with new delivery support options, including Support Skeleton to help you carry more, and Buddy Bot to carry you.
