Genshin Impact is heading to the PS5, MiHoYo has confirmed. The game, which was first released on the PS4 in September 2020, is available to play on the PS5 via backwards compatibility, but will soon be getting a native release for the console with better graphics and performance.
Genshin Impact is a free-to-play open-world action RPG that brings players to the visually stunning world of Teyvat. The PS5 version of the game will enhance the game further with 4K resolution, better textures, and faster loading times compared to the PS4 version.
The release date for the PS5 version is not yet know, only that it’s coming soon. The game will remain free-to-play, and PS4 players will be able to continue their progress on the PS5 version when it’s available.
