The PlayStation State of Play showcase last night gave gamers a new look at the long awaited Oddworld: Soulstorm, which is a remake of the second Oddworld game. The game will be heading to the PS4 and PS5 in April 2021, and the PS5 version will be free to PlayStation Plus subscribers.
Soulstorm follows on from the New ‘n’ Tasty remake of the original Oddworld game, where you reprise the role of Abe the Mudokon, accidental hero turned leader of a growing revolution.
The game will be releasing on the PS4 and PS5 on 6th April 2021, with the latter version included in April’s PlayStation Plus line-up. The PS5 version will make use of the DualSense controllers functionality, like haptic feedback which will give you Abe’s heart beat in suspenseful and high-tension situations.
