Psyonix has confirmed that Rocket League will be playable on Xbox Series X|S and PS5 at launch, with significant improvements on all platforms. Your Rocket Pass progress and inventory will transfer to the new consoles with your Epic Games Account.
Players will enjoy significantly faster load times and improved splitscreen performance on all new consoles. Plus, there are some special enhancements coming to the game later this year depending on where you’re playing.
On the PS5, the game will support checkerboard 4K resolution at 60 FPS, but the Xbox Series X will benefit with full 4K resolution and performance mode that will boost frame rates to 120 FPS.
