The next-gen version of Control: Ultimate Edition has been delayed to 2021, Remedy Entertainment has confirmed. The game, which was expected to release on the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S towards the end of this year has been pushed back to an early 2021 release.
In a tweet, the company said that further development work is required to improve the quality of the game:
Those that purchased the Ultimate Edition on PS4 or Xbox One will be able to upgrade to the PS5 or Xbox Series X|S version for free, when the next-gen version is available. Unfortunately, there is no free upgrade if you own the standard edition of the game.
