More details of Marvel’s Spider-Man Remaster on PS5 have emerged courtesy of Insomniac Games via twitter. In responding to questions from fans, we’ve come to know that the remaster on PS5 will have its own trophy list so you can earn a new Platinum trophy in the game.
In addition, Spider-Man Remastered will not support cross-gen save, which means you won’t be able to transfer over your progress from the PS4 version to the PS5, which makes sense if the game has a new trophy list.
The Spider-Man remaster will include the improved original PS4, but it will also come with all three installments of the Marvel’s Spider-Man: The City That Never Sleeps DLC so you can play the full narrative arc.
The game will also include three amazing new Spider-Man suits, new photo mode features, and all the improvements to take full advantage of the PS5, including ray-tracing, near-instant loading, 3D audio, and the DualSense controller’s haptic feedback.
Earlier this week, we explained the various Spider-Man editions that will be available, including those that include a free upgrade to the next gen version. Spider-Man Remastered will only be available on the PS5 via the Spider-Man Miles Morales Ultimate Edition.
