The PS5 will be getting a new PlayStation Plus benefit in the form of downloadable PS4 games that can be enjoyed on the console. The service is called “PlayStation Plus Collection” and will be available on the PS5 at launch.
The new service will include a selection of “generation defining” PS4 games that can be downloaded to the PS5. Sony has confirmed that this will be an added benefit to the existing PlayStation Plus subscription:
The PS Plus Collection will be an added benefit to the existing PS4 benefits that PS Plus members receive for a single subscription price.

However, it’s unclear whether this benefit will form part of the existing PlayStation Plus subscription, or whether this is a paid extra on top of PlayStation Plus – we will provide an update when the details are known.
According to the trailer, the initial list of games include:
- Bloodborne
- Monster Hunter World
- Final Fantasy XV
- Fallout 4
- Mortal Kombat X
- Uncharted 4
- Ratchet & Clank
- Days Gone
- Until Dawn
- Detroit: Become Human
- Infamous: Second Son
- Batman Arkham Knight
- The Last Guardian
- The Last of Us Remastered
- Persona 5
- Resident Evil VII
- God of War
- Battlefield 1
However, the games will vary by region and are likely to rotate overtime.
