Team17 have announced that Overcooked! is heading to the PS5, combining both Overcooked! and Overcooked! 2 and all the DLC into a bundle titled Overcooked! All You Can Eat (AYCE). The game will be optimised for the PS5, including 4K visuals and cross-platform multiplayer.
In addition to rapid loading times, the PS5 version will also include online multiplayer. Overcooked! has been rebuilt in the Overcooked! 2 engine, allowing for fully integrated online multiplayer.
Further improvements to the games also include a new “Assist” mode, which will add a number of options to make the game less frantic, including slower recipe timeout, increased round timers and the option to skip levels.
New accessibility options will also be added to the game, which will include Scalable UI, dyslexia-friendly text and colour blindness options.
Finally, Overcooked! AYCE will offer up some new, exclusive content too: new levels, new chefs and new mayhem. A release date has not yet been revealed yet, but you can expect more information on this soon.
