Multiple sources are suggesting that the PS5 is expected to be revealed next week, on 3rd June 2020 at a virtual event. Bloomberg is one of the sources, but warns that the date could still change.
“The virtual event could be held June 3, though some people also cautioned that plans have been in flux and that the date may change,” reports Bloomberg.
Bloomberg also reveals that subsequent events could follow in the coming weeks and months as “Sony is not expected to reveal every essential detail on the console during its first presentation.”
Naturally, Sony has declined to comment on the issue, but the timeline makes sense given that the PS4 was revealed in June 2013 and then released before the end of the same year.
