Gran Turismo series creator Kazunori Yamauchi has revealed some exciting numbers for GT Sport at the opening presentation at the GT Sport World Tour Sydney event. The game now has over 8.2 million users, with 1.2 million new players joining in the last 12 months.
The 8.2 million users have racked up 25.5 billion miles (41 billion kilometers) of driving in total, meaning the average player has racked up 3,000 miles (5,000 kilometers).
937 million races have been completed in the game since launch, with 32 million of them taking place online. Over 303 million hours have been spent on the track, which is the equivalent of over 34,500 years!
