Bungie has announced scheduled maintenance for Destiny 2, which will be taking place tomorrow, 27th June 2019, for approximately 12 hours. During the maintenance, both Destiny 1 and Destiny 2 will be offline, in addition to the website and mobile apps.
Maintenance will start at 7am PDT / 10am EDT / 3pm BST / 4pm CEST, and should be completed by 7pm PDT / 10pm EDT / 3am BST (Friday) / 4am CEST (Friday).
The downtime is required so that Bungie can perform some foundational work for the cross-save functionality coming to the game later this year. The cross-save functionality will mean that you will no longer be locked to a particular system and can transfer your progress between PS4, Xbox One, PC.
