Open-world post-apocalyptic PS4 exclusive Days Gone has been delayed until 2019. The game was pegged for a 2018 release, but the exact release date was never announced. Sony has confirmed to US Gamer that the title has been delayed, stating “Days Gone will now be releasing in 2019 and we will keep you updated on the launch date.”
Days Gone was first revealed at E3 2016, and is being developed by Bend Studio. It’s unclear why the game has been delayed, but it does explain why so little of the game has been seen in recent years, except for the yearly update as E3 and other gaming events.
It’s likely that we won’t get more information about the game until the latter half of this year, or even in early 2019. Since an exact release date hasn’t been set, we don’t even know when in 2019 the game is expected to launch.
