Sales of the PlayStation Camera have skyrocketed following the PlayStation VR announcement earlier this week. The camera is required for the VR headset to function, but won’t be included with the device. VideoGamer.com reports that sales for the camera has increased by a massive 975% following the announcement.
The increase in sales has helped the camera jump from number 215 in the Amazon PC & Video Games chart into the top 20. The PlayStation VR is currently the number one best seller too, and all initial stock for the device was sold out within minutes of going up for pre-order.
