Sony has announced an official in-ear stereo headset for the PS4, releasing this December. Priced as £77.99/€89.99, the headset will feature AudioShield technology to block out external sounds, and will have up to 15 hours of battery life. The headset will connect straight into the DualShock 4, but can also be used on the PS Vita and other devices with a 3.5mm headphone port.
The headset itself is quite pricy, and there are cheaper alternatives out there. But the noise cancellation feature and PlayStation branding will sit well with fans.
The headset will release on December 4th in the UK and Ireland, while the rest of Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Middle East and Africa will have to wait until December 9th.
