In more announcements from Sony’s press conference last night at Paris Games Week, Naughty Dog has revealed details about the multiplayer mode in Uncharted 4. The multiplayer mode will include a host of new features, and those that bought a copy of Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection will be able to take part in the open-beta.
New multiplayer features in the game include:
- Sidekicks – You’ll be able to call in AI-controlled sidekicks to aid you in the heat of battle, all with different abilities that’ll help you whatever the situation.
- Mysticals – You’ll be able to call on familiar supernatural abilities from the Uncharted saga that will give you unique powers.
- Leverage the grappling hook – You’ll be able to leverage the grappling hook at different locations on the multiplayer maps, allowing you to take out the opposition and escape tricky situations when available.
The Uncharted 4 multiplayer beta will run from 4th to 13th December. However, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End won’t be available until 18th March, and will be exclusive to the PS4.
