Over the past few months, Sony has been testing the PlayStation Now game streaming service in the UK, but with selected gamers only. However, as of today, the beta is now available to all gamers. The service lets you stream selected PS3 games to your PS4 and other PlayStation Now compatible devices, with compatibility eventually coming for the PS3 and PS Vita.
For the moment, gamers will be able to rent titles between 2 and 30 days, with prices ranging from £2.99 to £7.99. Later this summer, a subscription option will be added, giving you unlimited rentals for a fixed monthly price. In the US, the current subscription plan is $19.99 per month, or $44.99 for 3 months.
We’ve covered the closed UK beta in the past, but now you can experience it yourself. We personally think the service is quite pricey, but the subscription option should help out.
