Sony’s latest financial reports reveals that over 22.3 million PS4 consoles have been sold since launch. Since the last quarterly report, it means Sony has sold over 3.8 million units. However, the report also shows that sales of Sony’s portable consoles has declined.
Combined sales of the PSP, PS TV and PS Vita has dropped by 1.1m units compared to last year.
Eurogamer have extrapolated the information from the report, and estimates that Sony will have shifted around 38 million PS4s by this time next year.
