The Metro Newspaper today published a interview with SCEE CEO Jim Ryan about the recent quality of PS4 games, including DRIVECLUB and Assassin’s Creed Unity. In the interview Ryan was asked about the PlayStation Plus Edition of the game, which is long overdue, but his response has cast doubts on the game.
According to Ryan, the release of the PlayStation Plus Edition of DRIVECLUB is “still being looked at.” And when asked if he can guarantee the release, Ryan responded with “I can’t say anything at this stage.”
A tweet from DRIVECLUB earlier this month confirms that the PS+ edition is still a while from release – and that’s if it’s ever released:
@DevilDog1977 We’re getting there, but there’s still a lot of server development needed to support the PS+ Edition.
