As the DRIVECLUB issues continue, with no resolution is sight, Evolution Studios has revealed means of compensation for those who purchased the full game. The studio will be offering some premium DLC packs for free to anyone who’s purchased the game from November 25th 2014.
The DLC Packs: The Ignition Expansion Pack, Photo-Finish Tour Pack, and two livery packs will give players a total of five new cars, 22 new tour events, 10 new trophies and 10 new livery items to play with online and offline.
The Season Pass will be extended to include four extra packs in July 2015 to ensure players who purchased the pass get everything that was promised. So on top of the free DLC in November, the Season Pass will still include 38 cars, 176 tour events and 80 unique liveries.
A new patch for the game will also be releasing this week, with features requested by players. The patch will add:
- Improved multiplayer collision physics to reduce frustrating spin-outs
- Adjustments to soften the corner cutting penalty system
- Options in the club menu to view everything your club has unlocked
- A fix to allow all club owners to update their club badges
- Online and offline tracks:
- India – Yedepalli
- Scotland – Wester Ross
- Chile – Los Pelambres
As before, there is no update on the PlayStation Plus edition of the game. Evolution is still working on improving the server capacity, which will help when the PS Plus edition of the game launches. However, at this rate, we don’t think the PS Plus version will be ready until the New Year.
