LittleBigPlanet 3 has been delayed by a week in Europe, the developers have revealed, “to give Sackboy the best opportunity to shine.” The game will now be releasing on November 26th 2014 in Europe, but the North American version will still be releasing on November 18th 2014.
The developer’s statement reads:
We’re currently working our socks off with Sackboy and friends to get the game to you as soon as possible but it’s recently come to our attention that we’re going to have to move the release of LittleBigPlanet 3 in Europe by one week to give Sackboy the best opportunity to shine.
The specifics of the delay wasn’t revealed, but it’s likely due to localisation of the game in the many European languages, or extra time to test the online servers. With the recent DRIVECLUB server issues, we would rather wait a week and get full online gameplay, then go through the limited online play.
LittleBigPlanet 3 will be launching on both the PS3 and PS4. Stephen Fry returns to the series as the voice cast, but will also include House Actor Hugh Laurie and the voice of Nathan Drake (Uncharted), Nolan North.
