Sony has released the first minor firmware update for the PS4, updating the system software to version v1.51. The minor update is mandatory, and improves the stability of the system software and makes “minor refinements” to the System UI. The update should download to all North American PS4s by default while your console is in stand-by mode.
System UI improvements clear differentiation when the user downloads different content for the same game, like downloading the game and a update patch or add-on at the same time.
The official changelog isn’t available yet, so it will be interesting to see if Sony has added any other features in, besides those mentioned above. It looks like games will have to wait a little longer to get Audio CD and MP3 playback support.
