Guerrilla Games are so proud of Killzone: Shadow Fall’s framerate and resolution that they’ve released lightly compressed ultra-high bitrate video of multiplayer footage to show gamers just how impressive the game looks. Streaming the footage doesn’t do justice to the video, so you have to download it to truly experience the quality.
As Guerrilla Games’ technical director Michiel van der Leeuw puts it, there are, “limitations to streamed video on the internet”, therefore, viewers aren’t experiencing the true quality of the next title in the Helghast-heavy series. To get around this, you can download just over a minute of uncompressed 1080p video, at 60 FPS.
Important note: Please use a video player with hardware acceleration when viewing the footage. We recommend Windows Media Player for Windows users and QuickTime Player for Mac users. Do not use a non-accelerated player (such as VLC Media Player) because the framerate and resolution of this movie are simply too high and will likely cause choppy playback.

The video you just saw has been captured from a multiplayer match on “The Park”. The map is based on one of the environments you’ll encounter in the single player campaign, situated firmly behind enemy lines near the Visari tribute statue.
Look out for the game on November 15th in North America, and November 29th in Europe.
