A comparison video has been released by DigitalFoundry, comparing the PS4 and Xbox One version of upcoming title Battlefield 4. The video confirms that the PS4 version of he game runs at a resolution of 1600×900, while the Xbox One version is just 1280×720.
Digital Foundry confirm that’s a fifty percent increase in pixels overall, which is quite huge, though the video (below) has raised some questions about the quality of the recording, as detailed in Digital Foundry’s short Q+A.
While the PS4 version looks better, Digital Foundry says that the software-based upscaling to 1080p leaves the PS4 version with a less crisp looking game, but with better anti-aliasing. Check out the differences in the video below for yourself:
