Ubisoft has revealed more information about Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag exclusive mission on the PlayStation, as well as future DLC content and Season Pass. The PlayStation version of the game will include 60 minutes of exclusive gameplay featuring Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation‘s heroine Aveline.
Ubisoft has also revealed that the first DLC pack will be called Freedom Cry, and will be single-player oriented. The DLC will cover the backstory of Jackdaw’s Quartermaster Adewale, as shown in the trailer below:
The Freedom Cry DLC episode will also include the following features:
- An Imposing Assassin: In addition to being an exceptional sailor and pirate, Adewale has become the master of several types of melee weaponry and commands the will to use them.
- Fight Slavery in 18th Century Haiti: Journey to exotic Port au Prince and rebuild the Maroon resistance using skills honed by Assassin training and fueled by a hunger for justice.
- All Fear Captain Adewale: Adewale commands the Experto Crede, a daunting brig you’ll be able to customize and strengthen into the terror of the slave trade in the Caribbean!
The DLC will part of the Assassin’s Creed IV Season Pass, giving you the DLC at no additional cost, in addition to exclusive ship customisations for Edward Kenway’s Jackdaw, extra single-player missions, weapons, costumes and collectibles, and new characters for the game’s multiplayer mode.
