Sony has confirmed which lucky PAL territories will be getting the PlayStation 4 on the November 29th launch date – a total of 20 countries. Microsoft recently announced that the Xbox One would be delayed in some of the European countries it was expected to launch in, but will still be getting a PS4 at launch, giving Sony an advantage in these regions.
The PS4 will be available in 11 PAL territories where the Xbox One won’t be available until 2014.
We found out yesterday, after months of speculation, that the PS4 would be launching – a little later than anticipated – on November 15th in North America, and following here in Europe 2 weeks later, November 29th.
Sony have since confirmed a list of the European territories who’ll be getting their excited hands on the PlayStation 4 at the end of November, and it makes for an interesting read, especially when you consider it to include all of the regions in which Microsoft are facing delays with the Xbox One’s launch.
