In preparation for the first batch of DLC, PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale has received a massive patch for both the PS3 and PS Vita versions of the game. The patch adds support for the new characters, stages and minions that can be downloaded from the PlayStation Store.
The patches, however, are quite large in size. The PS3 version is 549 MB, while the PS Vita version is larger at 825 MB. The reason? The new characters, stage and minions can be encountered in online battles so the assets must be available in the game, even if you haven’t purchased any DLC yourself.
