Telltale Games have had huge success with The Walking Dead series. The five-episode series based on the comic books of the same name has sold over 8.5 million episodes across multiple platforms, including the PS3, Xbox and iOS, since launch, generating over $40 million in revenue for the games company.
About a quarter of those sales were for the iPhone and iPad, showing how the games industry is shifting towards casual, mobile gaming. The company is now focusing on the second season of the game, with CEO Dan Connors saying that the studio are in the very early brainstorming stages.
