Capcom has shipped a “record breaking” 4.5 million copies of horror title Resident Evil 6 worldwide. The figure is a new company record according to Capcom, which shipped 4.4 million copies of Resident Evil 5 back in 2009. The company is expecting the game to sell 7 million copies by the end March 31st, 3012.
Resident Evil 6 launched worldwide last week, but the digital version on the PlayStation Store has a game-breaking glitch after downloading the latest patch. Gamers are recommended to re-download and re-install the game if the game doesn’t load after installing the patch – a time consuming solution, that also disables online play temporarily.
