On July 19th, some PlayStation 3 users who bought the Ghost Recon: Future Soldier Arctic Strike DLC were experiencing a “DLC Trial Period Expired” error when launching Ghost Recon Future Soldier. Sony has issued a statement on the PlayStation.Blog indicating the issue has now been resolved.
Ubisoft quickly implemented a temporary fix while the root cause of the problem was under investigation. The correct package is now available in the PlayStation Store. Users who have purchased the DLC prior to July 26th can re-download the DLC from the PlayStation Store Download List to fix the issue.
Users won’t be charged again for downloading the DLC. No progression or achievements will be lost, either.
