American videogames retailer, Gamestop, has revealed the prices of the PlayStation Vita Memory Cards. The proprietary format cards are available in sizes ranging from 4GB up to 32GB and are based on the SD memory card format. As we expected, the Vita’s memory cards are much more expensive than the standard SD cards.
Prices are as follows:
- 4GB – $29.99
- 8GB – $44.99
- 16GB – $69.99
- 32GB – $119.99
The prices are similar to those for Japan we reported back in September. Lets see how price the UK and European prices compare. Games will typically be between 2GB and 4GB in size so games downloaded from the PlayStation Network will need plenty of Storage.
