A new firmware update was released yesterday, bringing the current system software to version v3.73. In order to download PS3 system software version 3.73, you will need a minimum 186MB of free space on either the PS3 Hard Disk Drive (System Update) or on removable storage media.
Depending on the software title, you may not be able to play without first updating the PS3 system software to version v3.73. The update is a minor patch that improves the playback quality of some PS3 titles.
Well, if it improves playback quality in SOME games, then Bethesda’s console lemons Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas missed the bus. TEN, I repeat TEN freezups and/or reboots/loads during one session of NV gameplay yest. I’m sick of it. Beth really ought to be held accountable by being sued. The game is basically broken. Its definately unplayable atm. But Bethesda, in all of their utter lack of wisdom, are too busy, with their puppet master M$, replete with Micro$it’s hand lodged firmly up their derriere, counting OUR money. Sony doesn’t come out of this unscathed either…ACCOUNTABILITY. Why let a broken, unplayable game with seemingly no QA onto their system? Why? Because it’s a seller that’s why. I’m sick of playing, sorry TRYING to play this diseased game. Fix it(somehow a mere patch, nor any system update will fix this “game” methinks. It needs a new engine, along with refunds to all folk whom have bought this broken thing). Bethesda, you have no respect, in your shilling for your master M$, in your lack of supplying enough CEs of Skyrim(only 200 copies for all THREE platforms made available in New Zealand. ALL GONE in one morning. Bethesda don’t give a toss. They refuse to help me get a copy, even tho I asked them to email me of the CE’s pre-order release day by joining their newsletter alerts), in your creating friction amongst gamers by choosing M$ over your fans the Gamers by giving the inferiority-complexed M$ timed dlc release exclusivity, and in your utter lack of respect for us, your bread and butter. Bethesda has no honour.
