Final Fantasy IX is already available to download in Europe and Japan for a few weeks now, and is finally heading to the US PlayStation Store. Sony has announced that the PSOne classic will be available to purchase from June 15th 2010, for $9.99. Final Fantasy IX is playable on the PSP and PS3, but be sure to have at least 2GB of free space available.

Can’t wait! Square Enix never fails to amaze me. Did you know that June 15th is also the day of Sony’s E3 press conference? If you can recall, Final Fantasy VII came out on PlayStation Network the same exact way – except it was announced during the conference and made available that same day.
