With the release of MAG just days away in Europe and the UK, most of you are probably wondering what has changed in the game since the last beta, which took place earlier this month. Luckily, Jeremy Dunham, Senior Community Manager for Zipper Interactive, has detailed the changes over on the PlayStation.Blog.
The biggest difference in the game is the maps and game modes. The Beta version of MAG only offered six maps and two modes, the retail version has a full five modes with 15 maps to play. The final game also includes a handy offline training mode, unique armors, new cinematics, art galleries, trophies, and the always-popular Veteran Mode that lets you start all over again with a permanent XP bonus and the ability to switch your faction after hitting the level cap.
Booting up the game will prompt you to download a small patch, roughly 60-80 MB depending on your region. The patch addresses some of the features requested in the last round of beta testing, including the ability to knife an enemy while you’re reloading your weapon and increasing the amount of time you can sprint before getting tired.
Hmm sounds like much has been improved. I’ll hold off this one for now, still gotta get into modern warfare 2 multiplayer yet!
This game is not doing so well in metacritics. Standing at 7.8 at the moment!!
^way much different then mw2 , all you need is a headset and you’re all set ! 😉
@DaLi Yeah i need to try it out. Also need to try out battlefield bad company 2. Just so many games, not enough time!!
Ill pass
Personally I think this game is a bit crap. I’ve been in the beta since phase 2 but it don’t feel different to other games. So it has 256 plays – big deal!
