In a Q&A post on the Rockstar blog, the studio has promised a “very good” 2010 to PlayStation 3 owners. Most GTAIV owners were upset that the The Ballad Of Gay Tony DLC never made it to the PS3, and Rockstar understand their frustration. In response to a question from a user regarding the missing DLC, Rockstar replied, “we understand the frustration of PS3 owners like yourself who haven’t been able to play any of our most recent releases. All we can say is that we at Rockstar promise to be very good to you with our releases in 2010. Please stay with us and stay tuned!”
Question:
“I was highly anticipating the release of The Ballad Of Gay Tony, but just found out that it is only on the XBox360. I am certain that I am not the first person to ask this, but how come it wasn’t released on the PS3?”
Answer:
We know that it continues to be an often-asked question – and believe us, we understand the frustration of PS3 owners like yourself who haven’t been able to play any of our most recent releases. All we can say is that we at Rockstar promise to be very good to you with our releases in 2010. Please stay with us and stay tuned!
So what does Rockstar have in store for PS3 owners in 2010? We’re not sure yet. But it could be exclusive DLC for the PS3 for GTAIV or maybe even a new game.
Thought it was common knowledge that Microsoft paid [50 million dollars was the rumour] to have these GTA IV episodes as Xbox 360 exclusives. I played the first one, The Lost & Damned, which was almost like playing a new game since it was about 8-10 hours long! Haven’t followed the Gay Tony episode. I’ll wait for a PS3 release 😀 Just like with Mass Effect 2 😉
i think it has to do with the exclusive stuff for future exclusive games ! 🙂
I doubt some exclusive content, I’m sure they’ll just re-package some things instead!
all im gonna say is i hear free stuff
C’mon, what is it?! Haha
It might be exclusive content for the ps3 for one of rockstar’s upcoming games, like red dead redemption?
