Borderlands, the half first-person shooter and half loot-based role-playing game, has broken the 2 million sales mark according to Take-Two and the NDP Group. The title, which shipped for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 last October, surpassed a publishing milestone in December, toppling one million units sold cumulatively in North America according to the NPD Group, which tracks videogame software sales.
In addition, Take-Two, parent to publisher 2K Games, said earlier this month that Borderlands has sold more than two million copies globally since its release.
